Job Responsibilities As a Production Associate, you will help support daily production operations by: Operating machines and equipment after receiving training Loading and unloading materials and parts Performing basic quality checks to ensure products meet standards Monitoring machines and reporting any issues to supervisors Working with automotive parts and recycled materials Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe Following all safety procedures and PPE requirements Assisting in different departments as needed through cross-training Working with team members to meet daily production goals Qualifications No experience required. Training provided. Work Environment The role is based in a fast-paced industrial facility focused on automotive recycling, remanufacturing, and related production activities. Team members work with car parts, metal components, and scrap materials that are processed for resale, refurbishment, or scrap sales. The environment includes operating production machinery, using power tools and hand tools, and handling various automotive parts on the shop floor. Work is performed on-site, Monday through Friday, with a standard first shift from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and a second shift from approximately 3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with overtime available based on production demands. The facility continues to grow through investments in new departments such as the CAT Department and recycled products, offering a stable yet evolving workplace with structured shifts and an emphasis on safety, organization, and adherence to PPE and industrial safety standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coventry, RI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
