This position is responsible for preparing customer parts for the coating process by masking, racking, inspecting, and handling materials in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and committed to producing high-quality work.

Shift:

Monday-Friday 5 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. with overtime opportunities as business needs arise

Job Duties:

Apply masking tape, plugs, caps, and other materials according to instructions, drawings, and specifications. Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure cleanliness, quality, and compliance with specifications. Remove masking materials after coating without damaging parts or finishes. Maintain accurate labeling, identification, and organization of parts across both facilities. Communicate defects, discrepancies, or production concerns to supervisors or the Quality team. Rack products using hooks, clamps, wire, tape, or hand tools on automatic lines or static racks. Mask parts as specified using rubber masks, tape, plugs, or other approved materials. Move materials to and from production lines using hand trucks or other approved material-handling equipment. Assist in other areas of the production line and support general production activities as needed. Identify and report quality concerns or defects at any stage of the production process. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and healthy work environment by following company procedures and complying with OSHA and other applicable regulations. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic hand tool experience preferred. The ability to read and write in English in order to follow work instructions, drawings, and router/traveler specifications. The ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment, production lines, and industrial chemicals while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
