Warwick, RI Job Details Full-time $17 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Barcode scanners Barcode scanning for logistics Attention to detail Manufacturing Sensors Full Job Description Kernel LLC is hiring a Calibration Assistant in Warwick, RI. No experience required. We train you. Kernel LLC is a contract electronics manufacturer. We build, calibrate, program, and ship IoT and life-safety monitoring devices (emergency lights, exit signs, temperature monitors, room pressure sensors) that get installed in hospitals and healthcare facilities. Roughly 90,000 of our devices are deployed in the field. Calibration is the step that makes those devices trustworthy. If a temperature probe we calibrate reads two degrees off, a facility can lose a freezer full of medication and not know it happened. The work is not physically hard. It has to be exactly right, every time. What you'll Assist Calibrate temperature probes and sensors in batches using our test fixtures and calibration software Scan probe and device QR codes and enter results into our system Prep, sort, and stage probes and devices before and after each calibration run Pair calibrated probes to their devices and confirm each unit powers up and passes its functional check Flag anything that looks wrong instead of passing it down the line What we're looking for You do not need calibration experience, electronics experience, or a certificate. We will teach you the equipment and the process. What we need you to bring: The discipline to follow procedure exactly, without shortcuts or improvising Comfort with computer, a barcode scanner, and simple on-screen forms Attention to detail with small parts and serial numbers, where one wrong digit is a real problem Reliable transportation to our Warwick facility and the ability to be here, ready to work, at the start of every scheduled shift Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for a full shift and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Authorization to work in the United States Pay and schedule $17.00 per hour to start, increasing to $18.00 per hour on January 1, 2027 Paid weeklySchedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:15 AM to 5:15 PM Why this job is worth taking We're a team of about 15 people, not a warehouse floor where nobody knows your name. You'll learn calibration, test, and quality process work on real equipment used in a regulated industry. To apply:
