Job Description

While working safely, the Doffer's main responsibility is doffing rolls of fabric in a manner to prevent damage to fabric and assure proper roll up of fabric. The Doffer will follow all standard procedures while doffing cloth, maintain the doff staging area, verify roll identification, sort rolls of fabric according to the next step in processing. The Doffer will complete all paperwork and Barco entry necessary for the Doffer job. Doffers will plan and prioritize their job responsibilities. This job also includes housekeeping, cleaning and floor maintenance in the Doffer area.

The company's materials are found in a multitude of composite matrix applications including commercial aircraft interiors, radomes for commercial and military aircraft, ballistic applications for military vests and vehicles as well as electronic applications including automobile sensors and telecommunication antenna. JPS has over 60 years of experience in our markets and is the primary supplier of these products in North America. The corporate headquarters are in Anderson, SC with manufacturing facilities located in North and South Carolina.
