Job Description
Direct Hire Opening For JIG Technician 1st Shift Pay 36.00 Perform welding repairs and modifications on production jigs and fixtures. Inspect jigs daily to ensure they meet quality and production requirements. Restore damaged or non-conforming fixtures to customer specifications. Fabricate prototype fixtures, storage racks, and production support equipment. Proactively identify and implement fixture improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Maintain documentation related to jig cleaning, maintenance, and repair schedules. Ensure fixtures are available and ready to support production schedules. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Support continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing efforts. Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles.
