Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Press Technician with crane experience to join our team. As a Press Tech, you will operate and maintain press machines to ensure high-quality production standards. You will also be responsible for using cranes to transport materials and manage production flow efficiently. This role requires a keen eye for detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot press machines to produce quality products. Perform routine maintenance on press machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize overhead cranes to transport and position materials and components in the press area. Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all times. Conduct inspections of machinery and tools to ensure they meet operational standards. Assist with quality control, ensuring products meet specifications and tolerances. Record production data and maintain accurate logs for reporting purposes. Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines. Assist with general housekeeping duties and maintain a clean, organized work area. Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Be flexible and available for occasional overtime on weekends as required by production demands.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a press technician or in a similar manufacturing role. Experience operating and working with overhead cranes is required. Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery. Ability to perform repetitive motions and tasks as required.
