Fundcraft Print Group , a family-owned printing and bookbinding company located in Collierville, TN, is looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our production team. We are particularly interested in someone with sewing machine experience who is willing to learn other areas of our printing and bookbinding operation. Industrial sewing experience is a plus, but we are also willing to consider someone with good sewing experience who is comfortable learning an industrial sewing machine. Printing and bindery experience is not required. We will train you on the equipment.

Schedule First Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM Enjoy a 4-day workweek with Fridays off. Some scheduling flexibility may be available depending on production needs. What You'll Do This is a varied production position rather than a job where you'll perform the same task all day.

Responsibilities may include:

Operating an industrial sewing machine Sewing and finishing printed products Operating digital printing equipment Operating bookbinding and finishing equipment Cutting and trimming paper Assembling and finishing books and printed products Quality checking finished work Boxing, packing and preparing orders for shipment Learning additional production equipment as needed We don't expect you to know all of our equipment when you start. We will train you. What We're Looking For Sewing experience is especially valuable for this position. Experience with an industrial sewing machine is preferred, but other sewing experience will be considered. More importantly, we're looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn and comfortable working with their hands and operating equipment.

A successful candidate should:

Be reliable and show up on time Have sewing experience or strong mechanical aptitude Be comfortable learning and operating machinery Be able to read a ruler and make accurate measurements Follow written and verbal instructions Take good notes during training Have good attention to detail and quality Be self-motivated and able to work independently Be willing to learn multiple jobs and help wherever needed Work well as part of a small production team Previous experience in sewing, printing, bindery, manufacturing or machine operation is a plus. Pay $12.00-$18.00 per hour , depending on experience and skills. There are opportunities to increase your value by learning additional equipment and taking on greater responsibilities.
