Description
Staff Management | SMX in Jackson, TN is hiring Manufacturing Group Leads to support our client's essential daily operations by packaging food products in a factory environment. We offer a production schedule that operates on a two week, rotating 36/48 hour schedule. Associates receive weekly paychecks and Medical/Dental benefits. Job Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of manufacturing associates to ensure daily production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Perform packing, hand packing, rework, inspections, and visual quality checks to ensure compliance with warehouse quality standards.
Assist with line clearances, changeovers, and minor equipment adjustments to minimize downtime.
Provide break and lunch relief by temporarily covering production positions to maintain continuous operations and minimize downtime.
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
Support other warehouse and production duties as assigned to meet operational needs such as 5S workplace organization.
Move, stage, and handle raw materials, work in process (WIP), finished goods, and product returns to maintain production flow in the warehouse.
Follow safety, quality, production, factory, and operational procedures while contributing to daily production goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.00 - $18.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
