$17.51 Position Summary The Paint Department Production Associate supports the manufacturing process by preparing, coating, inspecting, and handling components according to established production and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare parts and components for the painting/coating process, including cleaning, masking, hanging, and loading parts. Apply or assist with paint, coating, and finishing processes according to established work instructions. Load and unload parts from racks, fixtures, conveyors, or production equipment. Inspect finished components for proper coverage, appearance, and overall quality. Identify and report defects or quality concerns. Follow production specifications, work instructions, and safety procedures. Properly handle materials, tools, chemicals, and equipment used within the department. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Meet established production, efficiency, and quality expectations. Complete required production documentation accurately. Work cooperatively with team members, leads, supervisors, and other departments. Perform other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, industrial painting, powder coating, or finishing experience is preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as required. Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment, paint/coating materials, and chemicals while following required safety procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
