Job Description

Personnel Placements is hiring Production / General Labor workers for a manufacturing facility in McKenzie, TN.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30
AM Pay:
$17.00 per hour Position Summary The Production / General Labor position provides hands-on production support across multiple manufacturing operations, including loading and unloading production lines, painting, assembly, grinding, material handling, and general cleanup. Employees will be trained in their assigned work areas and are expected to work safely while meeting production and quality standards. Job Duties
  • Perform production labor in assigned work areas
  • Assist with production setup and material preparation
  • Load and unload materials from production lines
  • Perform general cleanup and maintain an organized work area
  • Stack boxes and materials as needed
  • Assist with dip painting, hanging and painting operations
  • Perform assembly and grinding duties
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production standards
  • Participate in quality checks and inspections
  • Report quality concerns or production issues to the supervisor
  • Communicate ideas or suggestions for improving production and efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, sometimes repetitively throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and climb
  • Good hand dexterity and ability to use both hands effectively
  • Ability to work in above-average temperatures, including areas that may reach 100+ degrees
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision after training
  • Positive and respectful attitude
  • Willingness to learn manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred BR2
