Job Description

JEM Guns is a firearms-components manufacturer seeking a dependable, hardworking person for an entry-level position in our machine shop. No manufacturing experience is required—we are willing to train someone who arrives on time, follows instructions, and takes pride in doing quality work. Responsibilities Deburr, clean, inspect, and organize manufactured parts Package finished products for inventory and shipment Keep work areas, equipment, and floors clean and organized Move materials, parts, and supplies throughout the shop Assist machine operators with basic production tasks Perform simple assembly and hand-tool work Help receive and organize incoming materials and supplies Follow all safety, quality-control, and workplace procedures Perform other general shop duties as needed Qualifications No previous manufacturing experience required Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Able to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail Comfortable working with hand tools and around industrial machinery Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Must maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Must be able to pass any required background screening Experience with machining, manufacturing, firearms, mechanical work, or shipping and receiving is helpful but not required. What We Offer Starting pay of $15 per hour Approximately 30 hours per week Hands-on training Opportunity to learn manufacturing and CNC shop operations Potential for increased responsibility and advancement based on performance We are looking for someone who wants to work, learn a trade, and become a reliable part of a small manufacturing team.
