Part-Time Leather Production Assistant Nopalea Creek, LLC Lubbock, TX Job Details Part-time $8 - $10 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Flexible schedule Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our small business and help with the production of our handmade leather goods. This is a great position for a college student, stay-at-home parent looking for work during school hours, or anyone wanting a flexible part-time position in a creative, hands-on environment.
Hours:
Approximately 10-20 hours per week
Schedule:
Part-time with flexibility
Starting Pay:
$8-$10/hour, depending on experience and training Potential for increased hours and pay as you become trained and our production grows What you'll be doing: Learning to operate leather-working and production equipment Assisting with cutting, preparing, assembling, and finishing leather products Installing hardware and completing other production steps Helping keep materials and the production area organized Learning our products and processes so you can eventually complete many production tasks independently You do NOT need leather-working experience. We will train the right person. We're more interested in finding someone who is: Dependable and shows up when scheduled Good with their hands and willing to learn Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing things correctly Comfortable learning to use machines and tools Able to follow instructions but eventually work independently Looking for a position they can grow into as the business grows This is a hands-on position, so you should enjoy making things, learning new skills, and seeing a finished product come together. Our goal is to find someone who can start by assisting with basic production and gradually learn more of the leather-making process.
