Park Avenue Cleaners in Port Arthur, TX is looking for a skilled Dry Clean and Laundry Presser to join our hardworking team! Responsibilities:

Press and finish dry cleaned and laundered garments using commercial pressing equipment Operate steam presses, hand irons, and finishing equipment to achieve professional results Inspect garments for stains, damage, or quality issues before and after pressing Sort and organize finished garments for proper packaging and customer pickup Maintain pressing equipment and ensure work area is clean and safe Meet production goals while maintaining high-quality finishing standards Handle delicate fabrics and specialty garments with care and precision

Requirements:

Prior experience as a garment presser, laundry presser, or in a dry cleaning facility preferred Familiarity with commercial pressing and steam finishing equipment Ability to identify fabric types and apply appropriate pressing techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a warm environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Team-oriented with a positive, hardworking attitude
