Temp RPM Staffing is seeking 1st and 2nd shift Brake Press Operators in Rowlett, Texas . This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining brake press equipment while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in metal fabrication, and committed to producing defect-free work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities As a Brake Press Operator, you will: Safely set up and operate brake press equipment and related machinery. Follow all company safety policies and maintain safe work practices at all times. Perform and document routine machine maintenance as required. Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, work orders, and technical documentation. Configure machines and set up jobs according to specifications. Select and install proper tooling for each job. Maintain high production throughput while ensuring quality standards are met. Conduct required quality checks, inspections, and sampling procedures. Complete and maintain all production and quality documentation accurately. Identify and report documentation discrepancies, equipment issues, and tooling defects. Collaborate effectively with supervisors, management, and other departments. Apply proper bending techniques and efficient manufacturing practices. Assist with other production-related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating a brake press. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and fabrication processes. Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail. Positive attitude with a strong "lead by example" work ethic. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday in a manufacturing environment. Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 35 pounds . Ability to assist in other shop functions as needed within reasonable physical exertion limits. Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
