Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft Utah is seeking motivated, detail-oriented candidates for a Detailer / Shop Order Technician position within our Engineering Department at the Brigham City Utah plant. This role is responsible for project coordination from initial building modeling through final shop order production, including 3D models, approval and placement plans, bills of material, sketches, and production documents. Candidates will work closely with customers, teammates, and production personnel to ensure project success and on-time delivery Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to visualize and work in a 2D/3D environment Strong aptitude for mathematics and technical plan reading Basic knowledge of construction practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CAD, AutoCAD, Tekla, or 3D modeling software Construction or manufacturing experience Steel joist and/or steel deck experience Nucor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace
