Job Description:
Description Production Support and Daily Operations:
Work with Group Leads, Team Members, and Operations regarding the production schedule and materials/parts needed for that day Deliver stock to workstations and replenish stock to meet production schedule Communicate with Team Leads, Shipping & Receiving and Purchasing as needed Support Daily Stand-up meeting by providing status updates on material availability, workstation readiness and any observed production constraints Quality Safety, Workplace organization,
Lean and Continuous Improvements:
Maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards Ensure the work environment is clean and safe Assist with lean manufacturing process audits to include Kaizen events and 5S practice Participate in root cause investigations and analysis Assist with data collection such as cycle times, takt time observations and scrap counts Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training (both required and desired): High School diploma or equivalent required Currently pursuing or recent graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline desired Enrollment in Manufacturing Engineering program preferred
Experience:
0+ years of professional experience in the required task area
Security:
Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements:
Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned task Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time
