International Paper's Lynchburg Container Plant is a manufacturer of corrugated packaging. This position will assist operators in processing corrugated sheets according to written specifications/diagrams and prepares product for the next operation.The Skills You Will Bring:
The successful candidate for the New Hire General Laborer classification must be able to: Abide by safe working practices and policies, work safely, and wear necessary personal protective equipment Pass a pre-employment test, drug screen, health assessment and background check Have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience Work first shift (7am- 3pm), second shift (3pm
- 11pm), or third shift (11pm
- 7am) with overtime Work cooperatively with peers and supervisors and have a good attitude with willingness to learn Work independently as well as in a team environment Must be able to lift and mount print plates, cutting dies and ink buckets weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
