This is a hybrid, production-focused position combining: Preflighting and preparing customer artwork Production file setup Graphic design and artwork adjustments Proofing and quality control Hands-on assistance with wide-format print production and finishing This is not a purely creative or desk-based graphic-design position. The heart of the role is making sure artwork is technically correct, production-ready, and capable of becoming a high-quality finished product. The right person enjoys working both at a computer and in a production environment. You should take pride in catching problems before they become costly reprints and be comfortable moving between file preparation, design adjustments, proofing, printing, and finishing as workflow requires. What You'll Do Review and preflight customer-supplied artwork before production. Identify and correct issues involving file size, scale, resolution, bleeds, fonts, linked images, transparency, overprints, color modes, spot colors, and output requirements. Prepare accurate production files for wide-format printing, cutting, routing, mounting, laminating, and installation. Set up tiled and paneled artwork for wall murals, window graphics, oversized signage, displays, and other large-scale applications. Create cut paths, production bleeds, crop marks, registration elements, and other technical components required for output. Prepare customer proofs and carefully confirm dimensions, spelling, layout, color expectations, materials, and finishing specifications. Make light-to-moderate design revisions, including resizing, layout adjustments, typesetting, image cleanup, logo placement, and adapting existing brand artwork. Create straightforward designs for signs, banners, decals, displays, and environmental graphics when needed. Communicate file concerns and recommended solutions clearly with project managers, production staff, installers, and customers. Process files through RIP and production workflows while maintaining organized naming conventions and job records. Assist with operating wide-format printers, cutters, laminators, and finishing equipment after training. Help with trimming, mounting, weeding, masking, packaging, and other production tasks when workflow requires. Inspect completed work for color, sizing, finishing, workmanship, and overall accuracy. Help maintain an organized, safe, and efficient design and production environment. Manage multiple active projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining close attention to detail. Take ownership of mistakes, communicate quickly, and help find practical solutions.

Pay:
