Temporary-to-Hire Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our food production team in Redmond, WA. This role supports the production of seafood products and requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Prepare shred carts for production, including weighing carts and recording cart numbers and weights. Create cart tags for seafood bite batches. Wash and sanitize carts and prepare them for the next production run. Operate production machinery and equipment after completing required training. Strip seafood products and ingredients as needed. Perform equipment cleanup and sanitation according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements. Assist with training and supporting team members. Work efficiently in a fast-paced food production environment. Maintain flexibility to meet production needs. Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Previous machine operator, manufacturing, or food production experience preferred. Ability to learn and safely operate production equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Comfortable working around seafood and food production ingredients . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain productivity. Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Basic computer skills for recording production information. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Additional Information Candidates will be asked about allergies to seafood, shellfish, wheat, and soy . This position may involve working around alcohol-containing products . Candidates who cannot work around alcohol may potentially be assigned to another area. Closed-toed shoes are required; steel-toed shoes are recommended . Casual work attire is acceptable. Opportunity for temporary-to-hire conversion after 520 hours .
