What You'll Do As a Production Associate, you'll help keep our operation running safely and efficiently by: Supporting machine crews and production teams throughout the facility Retrieving and returning cutting dies according to production schedules Assisting operators with feeding stock and material handling Helping stack finished products and prepare orders for shipment Operating forklifts and transfer carts (training provided) Maintaining clean and organized work areas Following all safety procedures, 6S standards, and lean manufacturing practices Supporting product quality and food safety requirements Working as part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement Assisting in other production areas as needed What You Bring A strong work ethic and positive attitude Commitment to safety Strong attendance and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift High School Diploma or GED preferred Why You'll Love Working Here Starting pay of $27.17/hour from Day One No manufacturing experience required Free health & wellness clinics for employees and dependents Full benefits after 60 days including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, pension, and 401(k) Paid vacation Family-owned company with over 90 years of success Opportunities for advancement and career growth Clean, safe, team-oriented work environment A culture where your contributions matter About Green Bay Packaging Started in 1933, Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a family-owned, vertically integrated company consisting of corrugated container plants, a folding carton facility, recycled and virgin containerboard mills, pressure-sensitive label roll stock plants, timberlands, a paper slitting operation, and a sawmill facility.
