Job Description

Croix Valley Foods, producer of award-winning BBQ sauces, wing sauces, seasonings, marinades, and Bloody Mary products, is looking for a full-time Food Manufacturing Team Member to join our growing team. We're a small, family-owned food manufacturer where every employee plays an important role in the production process. Unlike many larger manufacturing facilities where employees perform the same task all day, our team works together throughout every stage of production. Each day you'll help prepare ingredients, produce recipes, operate production equipment, bottle and package finished products, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality. If you're dependable, enjoy working with your hands, take pride in producing a quality product, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and accurately weigh ingredients according to standardized recipes. Produce food products while following detailed production procedures and quality standards. Operate steam kettles, mixers, pumps, bottling equipment, conveyors, and packaging equipment. Monitor cook times, temperatures, fill weights, and production quality throughout the manufacturing process. Bottle, cap, label, case pack, and palletize finished products. Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas while following food safety and sanitation procedures. Complete production records, batch documentation, temperature logs, and quality checks. Assist with receiving ingredients, organizing inventory, and preparing production runs. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company safety policies. Assist wherever needed to help the team complete the day's production schedule.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have: Experience in a food manufacturing, food processing, or similar manufacturing environment preferred. Experience operating steam kettles, mixers, bottling lines, conveyors, filling equipment, or similar production equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently follow recipes, batch sheets, and production procedures. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance. The ability to work independently while contributing as part of a small team. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn. A commitment to producing safe, consistent, high-quality products. Food manufacturing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
Compensation:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule:
Full-time Monday through Friday Approximately 8:00 a.m. until production is complete (typically around 4:00 p.m.) No evenings or weekends
