2988837744-2 Apply for this job now Job Description MCC seeks a skilled Press Operator to support its faith-driven relief and development mission by safely operating and maintaining print/production presses. The operator will set up, run, and adjust equipment to meet quality and output targets for materials that support MCC's global programs, including educational, advocacy, and donor communication pieces. Responsibilities include monitoring production, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, following strict safety and stewardship practices, coordinating with cross-functional staff, and ensuring efficient use of materials in a collaborative, service-oriented environment. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor press equipment to meet production and quality standards Interpret job tickets and specifications to configure press settings and materials Inspect output for color, alignment, and finish; adjust equipment as needed Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance on presses Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime Follow all safety, OSHA, and MCC stewardship guidelines in the press area Track production metrics, material usage, and maintenance logs accurately Coordinate with design, communications, and logistics staff on job priorities Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area Support MCC's mission by producing materials that reflect its values and standards Required Skills Press operation Mechanical troubleshooting Quality control inspection Preventive maintenance Safety and OSHA compliance Production scheduling Basic machine calibration Material handling Reading technical specs Recordkeeping
