Role:

We're looking for highly experienced Brake Press Operators who take pride in precision. If you can read a blueprint, set up and run a press brake to tight tolerances, and hold yourself to a high standard, we want to talk. All candidates will complete a blueprint comprehension test and a hands-on skills evaluation. Responsibilities Set up and operate a press brake to manufacture components from sheet metal including bending, shaping, and forming operations Interpret blueprints and verify incoming material against specifications to ensure quality Select and store tooling appropriately; adjust programs as needed per job specifications Measure and align materials using calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools Check material thickness for accuracy and inspect finished pieces for compliance with quality standards Operate overhead cranes and basic hand and air tools Communicate machine or quality issues to supervision promptly Adhere to all safety standards and procedures Qualifications 5+ years of press brake operating and/or setup experience, through schooling, on-the-job training, or a combination (required) Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints (required) Knowledge of forming Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Galvanized, and Aluminum (required) Proficiency with measuring tools — calipers, tape measures, and related instruments (required) Basic math skills (required) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (required) CNC programming knowledge a plus, but not required Compensation Negotiable, based on experience +$2.00/hr second shift premium Shift 2nd

Shift:
