Two Rivers, WI We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join a local manufacturing company in Manitowoc County as a General Production Worker. This position will assist with the production and finishing of wood products, including sanding and general material handling. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has good attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Job Duties Sand wood products and components by hand and/or using sanding equipment to create a smooth, quality finish. Inspect wood pieces for defects or imperfections and ensure products meet quality expectations. Handle, move, stack, and organize wood materials and finished products throughout the production area. Assist with various stages of the production and finishing process as needed. Use basic hand tools and production equipment as trained. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. #Manitowoc1
Requirements:
Previous manufacturing, woodworking, sanding, construction, or general labor experience is helpful, but not required. Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on work throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around wood dust, tools, and production equipment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, reaching, and other physical production tasks.
