JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor and Lead Person, the Equipment Operator safely and efficiently operates production and warehouse equipment, including but not limited to, depalletizers, fillers, packers, palletizers, forklifts, sanitation and recycling equipment. This position will also perform other duties as assigned by Management.
JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The job functions , not the individual.) Safely and efficiently operate all production, sanitation, and warehouse equipment. Maintain food and personal safety and quality standards for all processes and functions within assigned duties. Accurately complete all required documentation on a timely basis. Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures on equipment and work areas. Comply with all plant and food safety, HACCP, GMP, and sanitation regulations. Lift up to 40 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally, and up 75 lbs. infrequently. Frequently climb stairs, reach above shoulders, bend and twist at waist and neck. Stand/walk or sit for extended periods of time. Report to work on time and work overtime as needed, and up to 60 hours per week.
JOB DUTIES/MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS
(not fundamental job duties) Perform light maintenance duties on machines. Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires basic English reading, writing and verbal skills, as well as math and computer skills. Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 40 lbs. frequently. Requires the ability to operate all production and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, sanitation and other cleaning equipment. Requires the ability to work well with others in a team setting and with minimal supervision. Requires the ability to work overtime when needed and to work up to 60 hours per week.
