Job Description
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm - $1 Shift Premium We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Feeder to support our offset printing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and supplying materials for the offset press, monitoring production quality, and assisting Press Operators to ensure efficient, high-quality production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to develop their printing and production skills. \n What You'll Do Prepare offset color presses for production runs according to job specifications. Load and replenish paper stock and ink as directed by the Press Operator. Set up and adjust paper guides, feeder heads, and related equipment. Monitor paper feed and press performance during production and make necessary adjustments.
Inspect printed materials for quality and identify issues requiring correction. Monitor conductivity and alcohol levels to maintain proper press operation. Perform routine press maintenance and cleanup, including washing plates and blankets and lubricating equipment. Change press blankets and assist with equipment setup and maintenance. Obtain production materials, including stock, ink, and supplies. Support other offset presses and production areas as needed. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Participate in quality assurance efforts and stop production when necessary to address quality concerns. What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous printing, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus. Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions. Basic computer skills and the ability to enter information into production systems. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and support various production processes.
