Quality Control Analyst Job Summary The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for supporting quality and compliance activities throughout the manufacturing and laboratory environments. This position performs testing of raw materials and finished products, supports production quality oversight, investigates quality issues and customer complaints, and ensures compliance with cGMP, FDA, EPA, and OSHA requirements. Duties & Responsibilities Quality Control & Laboratory Testing Perform laboratory testing and evaluation of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Collect and analyze samples in accordance with established procedures and specifications. Perform analytical and instrumental testing using applicable laboratory equipment and methods. Review and document test results accurately and in a timely manner. Support the evaluation and testing of new and existing raw materials and products. Manufacturing & Quality Oversight Monitor manufacturing and batch processes to ensure compliance with quality control procedures and established specifications. Perform routine quality checks throughout production and communicate quality concerns to appropriate personnel. Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with cGMP and applicable FDA, EPA, and OSHA requirements. Assist with maintaining and updating Standard Laboratory Procedures (SLPs), work instructions, and other quality documentation. Quality Systems & Compliance Support investigations related to deviations, Out-of-Specification (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), risk assessments, impact assessments, and Change Controls. Participate in identifying root causes and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), and other quality-related documentation. Maintain accurate and complete laboratory and quality records. Assist with employee training on cGMP requirements, quality procedures, and applicable standards. Customer Complaints Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and manufacturing. Gather and evaluate relevant production, laboratory, and quality records. Prepare clear and thorough customer complaint investigation reports. Communicate findings and assist with determining appropriate follow-up actions. General Responsibilities Prepare reports, project updates, and status reports as assigned. Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations, quality standards, and laboratory practices. Continuously develop technical and professional knowledge and skills. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or another relevant Science discipline. Experience 2-3 years of experience in a QC or QA laboratory environment. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with cGMP, FDA, EPA, and OSHA requirements. Hands-on experience with analytical laboratory testing and instrumentation. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and follow established procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word . Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
