//talentassistant.actalentservices.com/assistant/bookings/a18a1000-8013-4ce0-99d8-5c2adfd81bd1 Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Lab Analyst to join our team at a leading ingredient manufacturing company. The QC Lab Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through rigorous testing, analysis, quality control, and documentation. Responsibilities Conduct raw materials testing to ensure compliance with quality standards. The day-to-day testing is unique to the industry so most of the instrumentation will be new to most candidates. Perform a variety of analytical tests independently and accurately, following established test procedures. Utilize industry-specific instrumentation such as viscosity meters, moisture analyzers, Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, PH, Moisture Balance, Protein Analysis, Viscosity, Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) spectrometry, and other relevant equipment. Maintain complete, accurate, and legible test records in accordance with company policies and record-keeping procedures. Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines, including Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and lab safety requirements. Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in routine equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure accurate test results. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and lab safety protocols. Previous experience in a laboratory setting, particularly in the food or ingredient manufacturing industry, is a plus.
