QC Inspector Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $20.00 /hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:00pm) $17-$20/hour with paid holidays. Hours approximately 7am-4pm; OT and weekends as/if needed. Employees will have exposure to outside elements and may require lifting and other strenuous functions using hands, arms, legs etc. Performs inspections and tests for at receiving, in-process and final for all production parts, subassemblies, purchased parts, outside operations and completed assemblies. Responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections. Responsible for performing hardness testing. Responsible for maintaining gage calibrations. Responsible for documenting inspection results. Responsible for determining accuracy of heat codes and material test reports. Responsible for initiating documentation for nonconforming materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished assemblies. Verification of effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive actions. Maintain a professional relationship with machinists, assemblers, test technicians, final prep personnel, and supervisors and managers. Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the QMS. Comply with all health and safety rules.

QC Inspector Qualifications:

Previous Quality Control experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferred. Experience inspecting precision-machined parts for the oil & gas industry is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T. Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
