Below are the main responsibilities for this position. Conduct field inspections of work in progress Prepare daily reports on progress and potential concerns Coordinate subcontractors, monitoring progress and adherence to plan specifications and procedures. Review subcontractor material submittal and shop drawings and check for compliance. Verify field dimensions and plan reviews Checking rough opening for doors and windows, in-wall rough in, and elevations Review plans and field coordination with contractors (This description may not include all duties required of this position) Associates or Bachelor degree in construction or related preferred or equivalent work experience in the construction industry Working knowledge of construction projects and building processes 2-3 years of experience working in the commercial construction industry strongly preferred Strong analytical and decision making skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office General knowledge of construction safety Excellent communication skills
