Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to lead our quality assurance efforts within our manufacturing environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a key leader, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality standards in production, drive quality audits, and implement robust quality management systems. Your expertise will help ensure our products meet rigorous specifications, regulatory mandates such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP guidelines, while promoting efficiency through Lean management and Six Sigma methodologies. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the quality control team to ensure adherence to established quality standards in production. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality systems aligned with ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory compliance standards. Conduct regular quality audits across manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and legal requirements. Oversee quality inspections at various stages of production using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles and quality inspection techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and regulatory affairs to resolve quality issues promptly. Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma tools and Lean management principles to optimize manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Maintain detailed documentation of audit findings, non-conformances, corrective actions, and compliance reports to support regulatory inspections and internal reviews. Skills Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations. Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on quality control or assurance. Expertise in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective action plans effectively. Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), analysis skills, and statistical process control methods. Familiarity with Six Sigma manufacturing principles and Lean management techniques for process optimization. Excellent team leadership abilities combined with strong cross-functional communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
