The Quality Control Manager will lead quality control initiatives, develop and maintain quality procedures, monitor performance, investigate quality issues, and work closely with production, engineering, operations, purchasing, and other departments to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Business, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered. 5+ years of experience of increasing responsibility in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, and production. Previous supervisory or management experience in a quality-related function. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection methods, and quality management systems. Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, procedures, standards, and other quality documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality-related software or systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, marine/boat or recreational vehicles. ASQ certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI). Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification. Experience with ERP/MRP, QMS, statistical analysis, or inspection management systems. Experience developing and implementing quality procedures, inspection plans, and process controls. Experience conducting internal, customer, or supplier audits. Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems, and quality metrics. Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day QC activities and personnel. Establish, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and inspection processes. Monitor production, materials, products, and processes for compliance with established requirements. Investigate customer complaints, nonconformances, defects, and process failures. Lead root-cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate containment, corrective action, and follow-up activities. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance. Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Work with production, engineering, operations, and other departments to resolve quality issues. Perform other quality-related duties and projects as assigned. Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to work indoors or outdoors. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and squat. Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions. Ability to work in hot and cold environments. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering shop or service areas.
