This role is ideal for a hands-on food safety and quality leader with strong experience in protein manufacturing, USDA-inspected environments, SQF, HACCP, and regulatory compliance. The Quality Assurance Manager will lead quality assurance and quality control programs in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting, ensuring products meet the highest standards for food safety, quality, labeling, sanitation, and customer expectations. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational excellence while partnering closely with production, supply chain, operations, and executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain SQF, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, allergen control, supplier approval, and food safety management programs. Oversee all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities to ensure product quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. Serve as the primary contact for USDA, FDA, customer, and third-party audits while maintaining facility audit readiness. Manage microbiological testing, sanitation monitoring, pest control, calibration, corrective actions, and quality documentation. Review product labels, nutritional information, ingredient statements, formulations, and specifications for regulatory compliance. Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team, including the SQF Practitioner and Quality Control Technicians.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range:
$120,000 to $160,000 per year.
