Weekend availability required; occasional holidays and after-hours emergencies Position Summary Alice Lodging is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Supervisor to help ensure our vacation rental homes are safe, functional, well-maintained, and ready to provide an excellent guest experience. This position focuses primarily on property inspections, maintenance coordination, preventative care, repair bids, vendor management, and minor handyman work. The Quality Assurance Supervisor will work closely with our Owner Experience Team, Housekeeping Manager, Guest Services Team, and field staff to address property concerns and maintain high standards throughout our portfolio. Key Responsibilities Inspect vacation rental homes for safety, functionality, condition, and readiness. Identify maintenance concerns and create, assign, track, and close work orders. Perform minor handyman and troubleshooting tasks, including basic Wi-Fi, television, streaming device, electronic lock, thermostat, appliance, and smart-home issues. Obtain and compare repair bids, prepare scopes of work, and make recommendations. Schedule and oversee vendors and contractors from initial estimate through project completion. Inspect completed repairs and verify that invoices match the approved work. Develop and monitor preventative maintenance schedules. Supervise and support Maintenance staff. Work closely with the Owner Experience Team to prioritize homeowner requests and provide inspection findings, photographs, bids, project updates, and completion reports. Assist with professional homeowner communications regarding maintenance, repairs, property conditions, and recommended improvements. Respond to urgent guest or property-related issues when needed. Maintain organized records of inspections, bids, approvals, work orders, invoices, and completed projects. Assist with inspections and maintenance recommendations for newly onboarded homes. Qualifications Three to five years of experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, property management, residential maintenance, facilities management, construction, or a related field preferred. Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred. Practical knowledge of residential maintenance and basic household troubleshooting. Experience obtaining repair bids, coordinating vendors, and overseeing projects. Ability to perform minor handyman tasks safely. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable communicating with homeowners, guests, vendors, employees, and management. Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and mobile applications. Ability to learn property management, inspection, and work-order software. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, and automobile insurance required. Schedule Requirements This is a full-time hospitality position consisting of eight-hour shifts. Because vacation rental operations occur seven days a week, weekend availability is required. Holiday work and after-hours emergency availability will also be necessary based on guest and operational needs. Physical Requirements This position involves driving between properties and regularly walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and inspecting indoor and outdoor areas. Candidates must be able to safely use basic hand tools, regularly lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move heavier items with assistance. Why Join Alice Lodging?
