Brighton, CO Job Purpose:
We are seeking a qualified QC Supervisor for a large food distribution center in Brighton CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, helping to investigate and address customer complaints. You will oversee a small team, delegate tasks, communicate with clients about food quality issues, and manage product disposal when necessary. Shift:
1st shift, 2nd shift (PM).
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee QC Operations:
Manage daily Quality Control activities across shifts.
Product Quality Assurance:
Supervise product inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare quality reports on trends, failures, recalls, and corrective actions.
Client Communication:
Correspond with clients on quality issues and resolutions.
Enforce Quality Standards:
Implement plant quality, HACCP, and GMP programs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Customer Service & Orders:
Supervise store orders and ensure excellent customer service.
Team Management:
Assign tasks and evaluate employee performance.
Complaint Resolution:
Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Promote Teamwork:
Foster a positive work environment and ensure productivity across shifts.
Other Duties:
Support additional tasks as assigned by the Distribution Center and Operations Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
2+ years in warehouse supervision or quality assurance.
Skills:
Strong communication, MS Office, Excel, and WMS system literacy.
Education:
Some college-level education preferred, or relevant experience.
Certifications:
Knowledge of HACCP, and GMP preferred.
Physical Demands:
Lift up to 50lbs, with extended sitting at a computer. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying noise and conditions.
Work Environment:
Distribution center setting with potential for reasonable accommodations. Flexibility in shift work is required. #DNVR-1
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$57,784.00 - $60,000.00 per year
