A Quality Manager manages quality control in an organization or for a project. Develops quality control policies and monitors quality in different settings such as manufacturing production, technology product development and research laboratories
Administrator to own its Quality Management System. This position maintains and improves the QMS across production, fabrication, shipping, and purchasing, and serves as the primary coordinator for internal and external audits, corrective actions, and document control. Based in Gainesville, GA with support responsibility for all company locations in Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas. Some travel required.
Pay Range:
65000-75000 depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and administer the
ISO 9001
Quality Management System, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. Ensure QMS documentation is current, approved, distributed, and retained per policy. Plan, schedule, and conduct internal ISO audits, and coordinate external certification, surveillance, and customer audits. Prepare departments for audits, track findings, and verify corrective action completion. Manage the corrective action process including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification. Facilitate 5 Whys, Fishbone, and CAPA problem solving. Track and report quality
KPIs:
internal and external nonconformances, customer complaints, on-time corrective action closure, audit results, and supplier quality performance. Prepare quality reports and management review presentations. Train employees on ISO requirements and maintain QMS training records. Respond to customer quality inquiries and support supplier qualification and evaluation. Support continuous improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma activities across the facility. Requirements Associate's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred. (Required) 3 years+ administering or supporting an
ISO 9001
Quality Management System. (Required) Experience conducting internal audits and coordinating certification audits w/strong working knowledge of
ISO 9001
requirements. (Required) Experience in metal fabrication, machining, welding, or industrial manufacturing. (Preferred) Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001), or ASQ CQIA, CQT, or CQA. (Preferred) Experience with ERP/MRP systems. (Preferred) Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. (Preferred) #ST101

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
