- Supervise Quality team members, including scheduling, time approval, performance evaluations, coaching, and documentation.
- Conduct departmental and job-specific training to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform laboratory analyses, investigations, and testing to support product quality and continuous improvement.
- Utilize SAP to track, trend, and analyze quality data and performance metrics.
- Communicate quality issues to key stakeholders and support timely resolution with operations teams.
- Maintain product specifications, customer specifications, and raw material specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure raw materials and finished products are tested according to Kerry specifications and monitor results for conformance.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce Quality SOPs, Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), and related quality documentation.
- Support and maintain food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, SQF, sanitation, environmental monitoring, and other GFSI standards.
- Participate in quality investigations, verify corrective actions, and ensure ongoing compliance with quality requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and corporate quality assessments.
- Provide technical quality support to operations and assist in resolving product, process, and food safety issues. Qualifications and skills Experience
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, FSMA, HACCP, and GFSI standards (SQF, BRC, IFS, or
FSSC 22000
).- Experience with quality management systems and food safety programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in food manufacturing, quality, or food safety preferred.
- 2-4 years of quality experience preferred, including experience in a plant environment. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related scientific field. Work Environment
- Food manufacturing and warehouse setting.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions and flexible schedules as needed.
