Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the timely and effective implementation of all company policies, procedures, and activities to ensure the quality of manufactured products. Maintains close working relationships with other department managers and supervisory personnel to meet and maintain product quality. Identify, solve, and prevent problems affecting product quality, maximize productivity, and comply with regulatory requirements. Why work forZoRoCo:

Quality Assurance Manager 1 position available: One at our Free-From Plant (14702 Karcher Rd, Caldwell, ID 83607) Day toDay:
Responsible party in supporting the food safety culture of the company. Supervise and direct quality assurance technicians/auditors who are responsible for enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices and other quality-related policies to meet product quality standards. Ensure good performance by quality assurance technicians/auditors by mentoring, training, setting expectations, providing accountability, and performing evaluations. Perform and review Root Cause Analysis for Food Safety and Package Quality deviations, process Non-Conformances from investigation, customer communication, plant notification and closeout. Monitor and release hold products as required. Perform monthly GMP audits and follow up with Corrective Actions from the audit findings. Review and perform trend analysis of pre-operational cleaning, production, and postproduction. Review daily production, QC, and sanitation paperwork. Including daily shift reports out. Reviews and signs off on all inbound paperwork to ensure standards are recorded and COAs are attached where applicable. Perform monthly environmental testing for the facility. Monitor sanitation efficacy and trends. Liaise with chemical companies and make suggestions for improving the sanitation process. Monitor the daily activities of the quality team and provide input and feedback to enhance their abilities. Direct the internal and outsourced laboratory work as needed. Perform annual training with QC technicians and production crew. Creates and maintains weekly Quality staff schedule. Ensure adherence to company policy throughout the facility. Spot check weights and metal detectors to verify proper packing and safety of products. Engage with Operation Team Leaders; perform daily inspections of the production floor. Act as liaison between departments; proactively establish relationships between departments to support the quality and safety of the product. Provide coverage for the Quality and Compliance Manager as needed. Provide floor coverage for Quality Assurance as needed.Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior proven experience as QA lead or as Quality Technician and exhibited leadership qualities. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Some areas of the manufacturing location could be extremely cold or hot. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high; some areas require noise protection - ability to work in this environment.The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
GFSI/Regulatory/Audit Knowledge GMPs for Food Manufacturing An openness and willingness to get their hands dirty - meaning, go out there on the floor and be willing to help/understand the technicians job.Bonus points for:
