We are a leading tier one CNC production machining company specializing in precision machining for companies including Caterpillar, John Deere and Bosch. Supplying component parts for agriculture, mining, construction and industrial refrigeration. We are

2015 and AS9100D certified and looking to expand into the aerospace market.
Job Summary:
The Quality Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of PGI's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the organization consistently meets its quality performance objectives. This role supports company goals by maintaining compliance with relevant standards (AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015), fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring product and process quality across the operation.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement procedures to support quality operations. Maintain effective quality operations by developing, training, and motivating quality personnel. Conduct vendor audits and ensure supplier compliance. Ensure all testing and inspection operations meet internal standards and customer requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues with internal teams and external clients. Maintain AS9100D certification and related documentation. Investigate and resolve customer nonconformance (escape) concerns. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues. Oversee the Non-Conforming Material Review and control process. Manage team schedules and overtime to meet operational needs. Present quality data and updates in AS9100D management review meetings. Ensure First Article Inspections (FAIs) are completed for all current part numbers and new product introductions (NPIs). Implement effective quality performance metrics, focusing on reducing customer complaints and improving product consistency. Strengthen internal audit systems and ensure follow-through on corrective actions. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and other departments to provide technical support and ensure quality integration. Collect, analyze, and report quality data to support decision-making. Develop and execute inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to ensure compliance with company standards. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Experience with
ISO 9001
2015 standards. Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Ability to read and interpret processes, procedures, and governmental regulations, write reports, effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and compliance agencies. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ability to create documents, reports and briefing materials in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills High degree of drive.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with AS9100D Aerospace quality standard ASQC Quality Engineering Certification Experience in advanced product quality planning (APQP) core tools and PPAP. Fully understand failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) Experience and knowledge of lean management tools.
