The Quality Assurance Coordinator will assist with the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability for the organization's products and/or development processes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor current programs in quality assurance as it pertains to distribution and processing as well as uphold the tenants of GMP. Assisting with AIB/BRC programs, review integrated pest management system, and documentation compliance in Tracegains system. Assist in root cause / corrective action activities. Be a part of the internal audit team and participates actively in the scheduled food safety and facility GMP audits. Be a part of the food safety team, assists with maintaining the food safety plan and updates SOPs as required. Interact with other supervisors/managers within RJW to share best practices. Performs activities to support the quality system, quality policy, quality procedures, work procedures. Ensure compliance of all Food Safety and Quality Programs including GMP, Organic and CGMP. Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Working knowledge of CFR for food, OTC, Medical Devices, Cosmetics and Dietary Supplements for warehouse and transportation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers and auditors. Project management skills and proficiency in analyzing and interpreting test dataQualifications Required:
High School Diploma2+ years of working in a GMP facility (preferred)Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.Computer Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Alchemy, and other software.Physical Demands:
