Job Description

Director, Quality Assurance SUMMARY Responsible for the development and execution of the quality management system. Provide leadership and perform required duties as the
ISO 9001
management representative.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality management system ensuring continued compliance with
ISO 9001
2015. Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation. Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary. Writing technical and management systems reports. (PPAP, CAR, PAR, NCP) Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods. Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems. Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues. Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements. Liaising with third party auditors Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports. Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree or 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance with detailed QMS and
ISO 9001
experience 2. Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors. 3. Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills. 4. Experience in quality management systems and audit programs. 5. Willingness to travel when required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office and manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
