Job Description

This is an onsite role located in Princeton, Indiana. The position is primarily scheduled on first shift; however, occasional schedule flexibility is required to support operational needs and provide coverage across shifts.
Primary Processes Purpose:
Provide support and planning for implementation of Quality System. Serve as Project Manager for all new projects and Lead Auditor. Provide support of Supplier Quality Assurance. Perform Capability Analysis on supplier parts and plant processes. Maintain communication with project stakeholders and hold project meetings. Coordinate new launch activity with the customer (i.e.
PA, PPAP
packets). Provide coordination of External Product Quality Compliance audits. Provide support, analysis, training and consultation on quality systems, auditing and quality awareness. Supervise Quality team members and team leaders as direct reports, developing all through problem solving and The EPIQ Way. Assist in hiring, coaching and recommendations for promotion and/or separation. Maintain and exhibit effective communications provide presentations. Ability to travel to review supplier processes/new equipment quality buyoff. Support QMS in regards to controls (i.e. corrective actions & activities). Work with suppliers to handle nonconforming material and coordinate returns. Serves as the Designated Document Control representative. May supervise the quality teams on each shift. 10. Assist with continuous improvement efforts within the organization. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Analytical Ability:
Statistical process control skills preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of
TS 16949.
Experience in planning and implementing internal quality system audits.
Communication Ability:
Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with MS Office products required, primarily Excel and Powerpoint.
Education and Competencies:
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
Management Experience:
Experience in project management.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 70-82lbs.
Qualifications:
Industrial or manufacturing experience of at least 3-5 years. Experience in planning and implementing internal quality system audits. Supervisory Authority
