The WCD Louisville Plant is looking to fill an opening for a Quality Assurance Supervisor. This position is to assist and support the Quality Manager in various Quality areas. Monitor the condition of raw materials before and during production and finished products after they are manufactured to ensure they meet White Castle USDA and FDA specifications. This position will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Control Program to ensure finished products meet specifications. Incumbent will give guidance, direction, and training to all Team Members with regard to quality, food safety, HACCP, Food Defense, SQF, and GMP requirements. What we are looking for Bachelor's or Associates degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related field with general knowledge of statistical process control, bacterial control, and sanitation methods is required; Excellent management and human relations skills are a must; Three to five years' experience in production methods and root cause analysis preferred; Must have strong knowledge and experience with SQF, FDA, and USDA Regulations and Directives, HACCP, SOP's, and GMP's; Self-starter and able to anticipate work requirements. What you will do Selection, supervision, training, and guidance of Quality Team Members; Coordination, development, and supervision of policies and procedures relating to food safety and quality including: GMP's, HACCP, SSOP's, SQF and other programs relating to food quality and safety; Perform pre-operational and operational facility inspections to identify problems and offer practical solutions to those problems; Perform raw material and finished product inspections and analyses. Train Quality Team Members to perform these functions; Maintain and procure inventory of quality, sanitation, safety, and production supplies. Availability to Work & Physical Requirements Flexible to change schedule and hours of work to meet the needs of the plant; Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time and lift, push or pull 75 pounds with regularity.
