Quality Manager Details:

Direct Hire position $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 /annually Salaried Lead and manage the daily activities of the Quality Department, including quality technicians and support personnel. Serve as a key point of contact for customers regarding quality concerns, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead internal and customer-related root cause investigations and corrective actions while maintaining the Corrective Action Report (CAR) log. Monitor and analyze quality objectives, key performance indicators, and quality trends, taking corrective action when performance falls below established goals. Develop and implement processes and initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving first-pass quality, and increasing customer satisfaction. Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen manufacturing processes and prevent recurring quality issues Develop and facilitate quality training throughout the organization, including special-process personnel testing and certifications. Plan, coordinate, and manage internal and external customer/process audits. Maintain quality documentation and records demonstrating compliance with QMS, risk management, and continuous improvement requirements. Manage the Customer Complaint and Compliment process, including documentation, investigation, tracking, and follow-up. Review and approve purchase orders, process routers, and related quality documentation to ensure requirements are met. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Production, and other departments to identify quality risks and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction throughout the organization.

Quality Manager Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Management experience in automotive, aerospace, metal forming, or a related manufacturing environment. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with IATF 16949 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems. Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Proven experience leading a Quality Department within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, process auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience working directly with customers to resolve quality issues and improve customer satisfaction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
