This is the final opportunity to identify and resolve issues before the customer's first impression of their completed home at the New Home Orientation. Key Responsibilities Serve as the organization's final review of a home's readiness for closing. By executing a strong QA, you support an exceptional customer experience.
- Perform detailed quality assessment interior and exterior: evaluation for workmanship and finish quality & ensuring all operable/functional systems.
- Maintain detailed, accurate and consistent quality records. Ensure documentation standards are consistently followed across all inspections.
- Assess risk of homeowner dissatisfaction based on quality, completeness, and presentation. Recommend schedule adjustments when necessary to avoid disappointing move-in experiences.
- Partner with Construction & Sales Leadership and Customer Experience Leadership to make informed decisions regarding closing readiness.
- Recommend process improvements, support trade partner accountability, and help identify training opportunities for PM's and trade partners.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout Construction and Customer Experience. Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of residential new home construction and sequencing.
- Ability to evaluate workmanship across multiple construction trades.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms.
- Knowledge of NAHB Residential Construction Performance Guidelines and residential building codes
