Job Description

Quality Control Manager - Food Manufacturing We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Quality Control Manager for a food manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for overseeing daily quality control and food safety activities while ensuring products, processes, and documentation meet company and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Oversee daily QC and food safety operations. Monitor production for quality and food safety compliance. Review and maintain QC records and required documentation. Conduct plant inspections and verify GMP and sanitation practices. Oversee environmental monitoring and microbiological testing. Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions. Assist with SQF, FDA, customer, and third-party audits. Train employees on food safety and quality procedures. Work closely with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Management. Ensure testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Qualifications Previous QC/QA experience in food manufacturing required. Dairy or cheese manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, environmental monitoring, and food safety documentation. SQF, HACCP, or PCQI experience is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Must be comfortable working directly on the production floor. Language Skills Bilingual applicants are preferred, particularly candidates who speak English and Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian . Compensation $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience. We are looking for someone who is practical, organized, attentive to detail, and willing to take an active role in maintaining a strong food safety and quality program throughout the facility.

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
