Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to serve as one of two managers jointly leading our Quality Assurance and Quality Control department. Working collaboratively with the other QA/QC Manager, this position will oversee assigned quality processes, personnel, projects, and production areas while helping ensure consistent standards across the company. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties Partner with the other QA/QC Manager to provide consistent leadership and direction for the QA/QC department. Oversee assigned QA/QC employees, production areas, projects, and inspection activities. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems aligned with industry standards, customer requirements, and company policies. Coordinate inspection activities to verify that materials, fabrication, assembly, and completed products meet applicable specifications. Interpret technical drawings, project plans, codes, and specifications to verify compliance. Ensure assigned work complies with applicable federal, state, local, customer, and industry requirements. Conduct and oversee quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process. Document nonconformances, recommend corrective actions, and verify that identified issues are properly resolved. Track quality metrics and prepare reports regarding inspection results, trends, and improvement opportunities. Train and support employees on quality requirements, inspection procedures, and documentation standards. Collaborate with production leaders, project managers, and other departments to resolve quality concerns. Promote consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Qualifications and Skills Significant QA/QC experience within a manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environment. Previous experience leading QA/QC personnel and managing multiple projects or priorities. Strong knowledge of inspection practices, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance. Ability to interpret technical drawings, project plans, specifications, and applicable codes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software. Excellent leadership, organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with another QA/QC Manager and maintain consistent departmental standards. Experience working with production teams, project managers, customers, and third-party inspectors or regulatory agencies.
