Job Summary Hanner Industries, a machine shop with over 50+ year history, is seeking a Working Quality Manager to join their team. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Working Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of quality management principles, and hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering roles. By driving quality excellence across all production processes, you will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with
ISO 9001.
Lead regular quality audits to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, identifying areas for improvement. Oversee quality inspections and control procedures throughout manufacturing stages to detect defects early and prevent non-conformities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, regulatory affairs, and supply chain to implement corrective actions and process improvements. Facilitate training sessions on quality standards in production, regulatory compliance standards, GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and other technical topics for staff development. Manage documentation related to quality assurance activities, including audit reports, inspection records, non-conformance reports, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Your responsibilities will include:
Learning and operating Quality Equipment (Calipers, Pin Gauges, Micrometers, and others) Experience Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on quality assurance or quality control. Extensive knowledge of
ISO 9001
standards Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production settings. Experience leading cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Project management capabilities combined with analysis skills to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions. Proficiency with MS Office 365 (e.g., Excel, Word) Join us as a Working Quality Manager to lead our commitment to excellence! Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
