Role Summary:
Our Director of Quality Evolution is responsible for making a compelling difference in the lives of our residents through providing excellence and innovation in aging services. The individual in this role must always ask, and find answers to, these key questions: What is the product we are selling and how are we delivering it? How do we know we are doing a good job? How should 'Quality' be defined in senior living? How do we measure it? We believe the definition and measurement of Quality in the senior living industry needs to evolve, needs to go beyond the conventional practices and measurements. Now is the time to lead this paradigm shift. The individual in this role will need to bring our enhanced definitions of Quality and link them to measurable outcomes, bring stakeholders to embrace them, and implement programs that reinforce quality evolution at WEL. As such, the successful candidate must be imaginative, creative and analytical, with demonstrated experience in influencing stakeholders. Qualifications Key skills include but are not limited to: An understanding of the field of Quality as it relates to exceeding stakeholder expectations in a service industry Curiosity and creativity, combined with an analytical mind The ability to collaborate as a member of an interdisciplinary team and develop interpersonal relationships within a diverse group The ability to build stakeholder consensus and influence stakeholders to implement Quality measures A high level of sensitivity and interest in people, especially senior adults
Education or Degree Requirements:
