"Job Summary:
The Director of Quality Control will develop, implement, and periodically evaluate a program to ensure the organization's production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization.Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction in the development of effective quality policies and programs which ensure that the organization produces quality products. Audit quality functions for compliance with established systems and standards; recommends corrective action as necessary. Lead and manage audits from customers or other entities (IATF) to sustain high-quality performance. Set up and maintain the quality system Assist Project management in product development through PFMEA and Control Plans. Represent quality at quotations, F&D meetings, and engineering design review meetings. Define, train, and monitor the requirements and performance of all quality departments. Coordinate all internal non-conforming reports and take appropriate action. Train and Manage plant contacts to successfully support Plant managers on the 8D corrective action projects. Manage customer quality concerns and returns and assist in the resolution, documentation, and customer responses to product complaints. Responsible for Internal Quality Standards. Coordinate and train the quality department on problem-solving methods. Responsible for statistical process control. Develop and manage TQS (total quality standard). Facilitate and assist plants in defining and successfully completing Quality Objectives. Manage Supplier Approval and Development program. Work with cross-functional for follow-up on internal corrective actions. Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred, or the equivalent of education and 5-8 years of progressive Quality experience 5 to 8 years of progressive Quality experience is required. 4+ years of working experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of and experience with IATF 16949 orISO 9001
quality standards. Working knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP). This is an ONSITE role, remote work is not available.Benefits :
